So what’s this all about?

At the start of the year, I was finishing up my latest comic project. Brian Cronin of CSGB contacted me asking if he could post the last few pages of the comic on CSGB to get me some traffic.

We then got to discussing what my next project would be. One idea I had was a fantasy cat warrior book that I had been playing around for a few months. But I didn’t really feel confident in that idea.

The other idea I had been thinking about is a review comic. My first idea was to do a straight review comic. Just have the comic be about reviewing other comics. Brian liked the idea and thought I could maybe work it up and have it run on CSBG.

I was a little hesitant since I have been recently doubting my writing skills so Brian suggested I find a writer. We mulled over possibilities and both thought of Sean Whitmore.

I contacted Sean and told him about the idea. He thought it was a neat idea. Sean thought that adding more characters and story to the comic would help move it along and be less boring than just being reviews.

So we worked out a story about the comic being about online comic reviewers. They would review comics from time to time. Plus being more story based, we could do gags just about the industry and general topics in-between reviews.

For now, we are going to be doing a weekly full color comic. It will be featured on CSGB as well as it’s own site where the archive of the comics will be held. The site will also feature blog posts from each of us from time to time. I don’t want to link the comic site yet since I’m still tweaking it.

The comic should launch in the coming weeks. There will be a preview of the comic on CSGB soon.
